- There's a whole world of compound butters out there. My favorite is avocado compound butter. You can use it to top so many dishes. Meats, fishes, my favorite, corn on the cob. So let's make it. This is a very easy recipe, you could probably do it with your eyes closed, but I will tell you a few things to help you out. First we're gonna tackle the avocados. Pit them and scoop the flesh out, then we're gonna plop that right in the food processor. Now we're gonna add in our lemon juice, followed by the butter, of course. It's really important that the butter's room temperature, because otherwise it just won't mix well. Add in now some cilantro, and garlic. All right, now we're gonna add some toasted cumin seeds, it adds a lot of complexity to this dish. Really good. Finish it off with a little salt, and some pepper. And we're gonna blitz. Let it go until it looks pretty smooth and fully incorporated. The goal here is to be able to say when you're eating it, it's like butter. All right, so I'm adding it to the parchment paper, and once it's on the parchment paper, I'm gonna shape it into a log, you can shape it however you want, it's your masterpiece, you can put it in a heart or something. I'm gonna make mine look like a little stick of butter. So you could eat it as is, I mean it tastes pretty good, but trust me, it will be better after you refrigerate it for a few hours. And here is our beautiful avocado compound butter. It's creamy, it's rich, it's like avocado and butter, like, were in a relationship, and guys, I think this is a commitment that will last, let's eat. Hmm. This is so stinking good. Come back tomorrow for more recipes.
