A great and easy Korean fushion recipe.
4 ounces spaghetti
2 thick-cut bacon strips, cut 1/2-inch wide
1 cup kimchi, chopped
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, more if desired
Shredded Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Chopped chives, for garnish
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over hight heat and salt it generously. Add spaghetti and boil, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 7 minutes. (Or follow the directions on the package you are using.)
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add bacon and cook until it's slightly browned and crispy.
Add kimchi and sauté until kimchi is softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir butter into bacon kimchi mixture and turn off heat. Add cooked pasta and toss well.
Transfer to a serving plate and top with shredded Parmesan cheese and chives.
