Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders

With these baked honey garlic chicken tenders, you won't have to see another Chinese takeout box.


  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cornstarch slurry
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • To serve
  • Green onions, sliced as garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Green beans


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Marinate chicken tenders with a splash of soy sauce, garlic and ginger for 15 minutes.
  3. Dip chicken tenders into beaten eggs, then panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place on baking sheet. Bake until golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes.
  5. While the chicken is baking, bring honey, soy sauce, Sriracha and garlic to a simmer. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened.
  6. Pour sauce over chicken and gently toss.
  7. Serve garnished with green onions and toasted sesame seeds with a side of green beans.
