- When you are in desperate need of a quick fix frozen treat try banana ice cream, theis bananas. You really only need two ingredients for this, well three in my case, I'll show you a little later. But, you just need some ripe bananas, don't worry if they have some black spots, that just means that they're more nutritious. You'll also need some sort of milk, I've got almond milk here and that special third ingredient, chocolate because come on, chocolate. So all you have to do is peel up the banana. Quick question, do you guys peel bananas from this end or this end? I used to do it from here, but now I just see how much easier it is to do this. Like peeling bananas is rocket science, come on. Then, just cut them up into little pieces. And just throw all the little chunks into a plastic bag and into the freezer at least for a couple of hours so that they can firm up. Or you could do it over night and have a nice little breakfast treat of bananas. Oh look, I've got some frozen right here, it's like magic. Yeah, I waited here this whole time waiting for them to freeze. Now all you have to do is throw them in a food processor, now the almond milk; you can use coconut milk, dairy milk, anything you'd like. Just a little bit at a time, so that you can see the consistency you'd like. If you want it more smooth, you can add a little more. But, I'm just gonna keep it at that and give it a pulse. So, I'm adding a little bit more, just to help it go along. Every so often you may need to scrape it down a bit and move things around, but look it's starting to get creamy like ice cream; so just a few more pulses. And I think we'll be ready to go. This is exactly the consistency you're looking for, just like ice cream. So now I'm just gonna mix in some chocolate chips and just fold it all together. And there you have it, banana ice cream. Now, you have two choices, you can put this in the freezer and let it firm up a little more and enjoy whenever you're ready. Or you could just have it now with a spatula, which I'm gonna do. Mmm, so good. Just the right amount of sweetness and super easy. Bananas, almond milk, chocolate. I hope you guys give this a try and I'll see ya next time. And remember too, just eat live.
