Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Why "Bang Bang?" Because this shrimp pasta is bangin'!


  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chili paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, minced
  • Red chili flakes, for garnish


  1. Cook pasta al dente according to box instructions.
  2. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili paste and garlic. Whisk to combine. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add shrimp, salt, cayenne and garlic powder. Stir to coat shrimp. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add pasta and sauce to the pan. Turn off the heat and mix together until pasta is coated. Add lime, green onions and cilantro, and garnish with red chili flakes.
