Why do Margherita pizzas get to have all the fun? Take the edge off with a Bloody Mary Pizza instead.

  • Your favorite pizza dough (enough for two pizzas)

  • Vodka sauce:

  • 1/4 cup vodka

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon horseradish

  • 2 cups canned crushed tomato

  • 5 tablespoons half-and-half

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Toppings:

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella

  • Pepperoncini

  • Olives

  • Sun-dried tomatoes, roughly chopped

  • Jalapeños, sliced

  • Freshly sliced tomatoes


  1. To make the sauce, bring all ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan. Immediately reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.

  2. Preheat oven to 450°F. Divide the dough between 2 pizza pans (or 2 baking sheets) that have been lightly greased. Form the pizza rounds, then top with sauce. Add the cheese, then layer with toppings as desired.

  3. Bake for 15-25 minutes depending on thickness of pizza. Serve immediately.

- I found a way to take my favorite cocktail and put it in a dinner dish. I know, pretty awesome. Lucky for you, I'ma show you hot to make it. It's my bloody Mary pizza, filled with such incredible flavor from all these anti-pasti toppings. Your belly is gonna thank you. Alright, so lets start making this really, really fun pizza. We're gonna start with our sauce. Pretty simple, we're taking some crushed tomatoes, we have some vodka, because obviously blood mary has vodka in it, don't worry its non-alcoholic, it kind of cooks down and you don't even taste it really, unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how old you are. we're gonna add some Worcestershire sauce, horse radish, half and half, and then we're gonna add some salt and pepper just to make it super flavorful. Oh yum. Bring it up to a boil, and then we're just gonna simmer it for about 10 minutes or so, while we work on our pizzas. Alright, so we have dough here for two pizzas. I'm just gonna flour our board here, pour our dough out, and this is just regular store bought pizza dough, you could make your own if you'd like to, totally up to you, but it makes it really easy if you just buy it. So we're gonna take our dough and we're gonna cut it in half because we're making two pizzas here. And we're gonna start stretching away, we just wanna make it as large as your pizza dish, you wanna leave a little bit of a thicker edge for our crust. Alright, lets do it one more time for the other pizza. You're gonna love this pizza, I'm telling you. I made this and, I don't think I've ever like a pizza more. We have olives, we're putting pepperoncini in it, everything that's so flavorful that's going on it, plus your sauce is so flavorful, it just makes for the most perfect pizza. Stretch that dough out. Alright, cool. Lets build our pizza. So our sauce is all cooked up, and you see how nice and thick it gets, look at this. The sauce is so good. You're gonna make this sauce and wanna just bottle it up and put it on everything. It's really good on pasta, obviously killer on pizza. Alright, now we have our sauce in place, we are going to pour our cheese all over the top. Just a shredded mozzarella here. Its gonna be pizza party. Yum. So good, alright, so now we have our toppings. Now these are my favorite toppings, they're briney, they have such good flavor, olives, jalapenos, pepperoncinis and sun dried tomatoes. So we're just gonna pour these toppings all over. Alright, the pepperoncini, I cut these in half, I just like how it looks really pretty and rustic. Sun dried tomatoes go all over the top, I love the contrast and color here, and the chewy-ness, the texture that sun dried tomatoes add. And your jalapenos. Oh man. That is it. We're gonna pop this in the oven at 450 degrees, for about 20 to 25 minutes, until they're bubbly and super crunchy, crispy crust. Oh, my mouth is watering. Alright, these have just come out of the oven, and they've cooled slightly. You can see the crust puffed up, kinda nice and crunchy and crispy, its golden brown, it smells so insane in here. I'm gonna cut these up. Get these on here. Alright, now tell me that doesn't look awesome. Perfect all year long and has such great intense flavors, you've never had pizza like this before. You gotta try it. Enjoy.
