Make your brownies #worthit by filling them with flavors like cookies 'n' cream, German chocolate and Black Forest.
Ingredients
- German chocolate filling:
- 1 cup custard
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- Black Forest filling:
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup cherries in syrup, drained and chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
- Cookies ’n’ cream filling:
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup crushed chocolate cookies
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine custard, shredded coconut and chopped pecans. Set aside.
- In a seprate large bowl, combine whipped cream, cherries and almonds. Set aside.
- In a third bowl, combine whipped cream, crushed cookies and vanilla.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces dark chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and prepare 2 8x8-inch square baking pans with parchment paper and nonstick spray.
- In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, heat dark chocolate and butter until nearly fully melted. Remove from the heat and stir until smooth. Stir in sugar and eggs one at a time. Add salt and then flour until just mixed.
- Divide batter between prepared baking pans and spread evenly. Bake for 15 minutes or until the center is set. Cool completely.

- Cut brownies into squares. Add filling of choice and roll each in more toppings. Serve right away or chill for up to 3 days before serving.
