Brownie Sandwiches 3 Ways

Make your brownies #worthit by filling them with flavors like cookies 'n' cream, German chocolate and Black Forest.

Ingredients

  • German chocolate filling:
  • 1 cup custard
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Black Forest filling:
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup cherries in syrup, drained and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
  • Cookies ’n’ cream filling:
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine custard, shredded coconut and chopped pecans. Set aside.
  2. In a seprate large bowl, combine whipped cream, cherries and almonds. Set aside.
  3. In a third bowl, combine whipped cream, crushed cookies and vanilla.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces dark chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and prepare 2 8x8-inch square baking pans with parchment paper and nonstick spray.
  2. In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, heat dark chocolate and butter until nearly fully melted. Remove from the heat and stir until smooth. Stir in sugar and eggs one at a time. Add salt and then flour until just mixed.
  3. Divide batter between prepared baking pans and spread evenly. Bake for 15 minutes or until the center is set. Cool completely.

Steps

  1. Cut brownies into squares. Add filling of choice and roll each in more toppings. Serve right away or chill for up to 3 days before serving.
