Ingredients
Buffalo Turkey Burger
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Frank's RedHot sauce
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4, 1/2-inch pieces of blue cheese
- 4 brioche buns
- Hot sauce for drizzling
Slaw
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon
- 2 celery stalks, shaved
- 2 carrots, shaved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
Buffalo Turkey Burger
- Mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, butter, hot sauce and Worcestershire. Form into 4 balls.
- Make a well in the center of each ball and fill with a piece of blue cheese. Press into a patty.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan and cook about 6-7 minutes per side.
- To serve, place a burger in each bun, top with some slaw and drizzle with hot sauce if desired.
Slaw
- Whisk together the vinegar, Dijon and sugar. Add the celery and carrots, and stir to combine.
