Caramel Chocolate Panna Cotta

Just when you thought normal panna cotta couldn't taste better, we came up with this.



  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of water, divided

Panna cotta

  • 3/4 cup of heavy cream, warm
  • 3/4 cup of milk, warm
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 3/4 tablespoon of gelatin (put into ice water)


  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Freeze-dried raspberries
  • Sprinkles
  • Mint leaf



  1. To make the caramel, add sugar and 1 tablespoon water in a saucepan then heat over medium heat. Once the color turns amber, turn off heat and carefully add in remaining water. Mix well.
  2. Pour mixture into a rectangular mold and refrigerate until firm.
  3. Remove from mold, and cut into individual servings.
  4. Decorate with garnish before serving.

Panna cotta

  1. To make the panna cotta, add milk, cream, cocoa, sugar and gelatin to the caramel and bring to a boil.
