• 8 slices ham
  • 7 slices cheddar cheese
  • Nori seaweed
  • Wheat flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil, for frying
  • 2 slices sandwich bread, toasted
  • Cabbage, shredded
  • Mustard
  • Mayonnaise
  • Teriyaki sauce


  1. Lay out a slice of ham; top with cheese and seaweed. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up. Dip ham stack in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  2. Deep-fry in a pot of oil heated to 325 degrees until light brown.
  3. Top a piece of toast with shredded cabbage, then add fried ham stack. Drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Spread mustard mayonnaise mixture on the other slice of toast and place on top. Cut in half and serve.
