Cheesy Beef Ribs

Ever look at a bowl of cheese dip and think "say, what if I ditched the chips for beef ribs?" No, just us?

  • 6 spare ribs
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • Marinade:
  • 3 tablespoons chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili bean sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons liquor
  • 1 tablespoon chicken stock powder

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine marinade ingredients. Add spare ribs and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a frying pan, add the sesame oil and cook the spare ribs, turning to cook all sides. Add water and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes. Remove spare ribs and set aside. In the same pan, add the cheese and corn and cook until cheese is melted. Return spare ribs to pan to serve.
