Cheese Dome Curry

This creamy cheese sauce is what your curry has been missing; try it topped with an ooey, gooey egg for extra flavor.


  • 200 grams cooked rice
  • Milk
  • 200 grams shredded cheese
  • Curry:
  • 20 grams butter
  • 100 grams ground beef
  • 50 grams onion, minced
  • 50 grams carrot, minced
  • 150 grams canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Topping:
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Chopped parsley
  • Pink peppercorns


  1. Combine milk and cheese and cook until melted. Set aside.
  2. In a frying pan, add the butter, ground beef, minced onion, minced carrot and canned tomatoes. Cook until liquid has mostly evaporated.
  3. Add all ingredients for the curry and cook until beef is no longer pink.
  4. Top a plate of cooked rice with the curry, melted cheese and egg yolk. Garnish with chopped parsley and pink peppercorns.
