Cheeseburger Tater Tot Cups

Why order a cheeseburger with a side of tots when you can get them together in one mouth-watering snack?


  • 3 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Mini pickles, crumbled bacon, sliced cherry tomato and sliced pearl onion for garnish
  • Special Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until beef has browned. Set aside until ready to use.
  3. Grease a mini muffin pan and place four tater tots in each cup. Bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven and press the tots down, forming a cup.
  5. Fill the tater tot cups with the beef and place back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Remove and cover each cup with the cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
  6. Mix together all of the ingredients for the special sauce.
  7. Garnish with pickle slices, tomato, crumbled bacon and a drizzle of the special sauce.
