Cherry Jello

This jello is the cherry on top to your day! 🍒


  • 2 cherries, stems attached
  • Cherry mousse:
  • 10 cherries
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin
  • Water for the gelatin
  • Whipped cream
  • Jello:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin
  • Water for the gelatin


  1. Remove the seeds from the cherries with a straw. Add them to a saucepan with the mixed berries, sugar and lemon juice. Heat over medium. Once the berries come to a simmer, place in a colander set over a mixing bowl. Press down to squeeze the juice from the berries into the mixing bowl.
  2. To the berry juice, add the gelatin and whipped cream and mix quickly with a whisk. Pour the mixture into two molds and chill it in the fridge until solid.
  3. Combine the ingredients for the jello.
  4. Position a cherry between two chopsticks and suspend it over one of the molds. Pour in half of the jello. Repeat with remaining cherry and jello.
  5. Place in fridge until set. Serve with a sprig of mint.
