When you want pizza AND fried chicken but don't want to order from two places...

Chicken Crisp Pizza


  • 3 chicken breasts

  • 1/2 onion, chopped

  • 2 eggs

  • Salt and pepper

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/4 cups flour

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 2 cups breadcrumbs

  • 1 1/3 cups tomato sauce

  • 2 cups shredded cheese

  • Chopped parsley, to serve


  1. Preheat oven to 320 degrees. Line a baking tray with plastic wrap.

  2. In a food processor, add the chicken breasts, onion, eggs, salt and pepper. Process until a paste is formed. Pour out chicken mixture onto the prepared baking tray and use a spatula to smooth out. Place in freezer until frozen completely.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, flour and milk. Remove chicken mixture from freezer and pour batter over the top. Coat with breadcrumbs, then place on a clean sheet tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 50 minutes.

  4. Remove from oven, spread tomato sauce over the top and sprinkle with cheese. Use a kitchen torch to melt the cheese. Sprinkle with parsley before slicing and serving.
