- Hey guys, I'm back with Alex, and this week we're doing something very different, and I'm kind of nervous. - We've got five things each, and we've covered them in chocolate. - There are some things under here which I'm not too sure chocolate can disguise. - And under here. - To make it not so obvious, we're doing it blindfolded with my awesome donut mask. - Spoon facing up, you. - Okay. - Spoon facing down me. Ready? - Okay - Then what? - You go first. - I try it first? - No, you get to choose. - Okay. I think I won't need to go first. - Okay, great. - Are you ready? - I'm ready. - This can go in your mouth whole. - This can go in my mouth whole? - Or do you want to bite it half? - Well it depends how big it is. - You can probably bite it half. Ready? - Yeah. - 3, 2, 1, bite. - It'd be interesting to see if we can actually ... - Can I have the other half? - ... guess what the taste is. - That's actually really tasty. - Is it? I think it's probably changed the texture. Any guesses? - Yeah, well, it's a crisp. - Right? - It's like an onion ring crisp. - It's an onion ring crisp. - No way. - Put your thing back on. - Was that good? - Yeah, it was really good. You can't really taste a lot of the onion. - The onion. - But the kind of crunch of it is really tasty. - Well I really do think chocolate and some savory is delicious so. - Right, you're up. - Okay. I'm nervous. I get really nervous about stuff like this. - There's nothing to be nervous about. - I think it's because you lose your eyes. - I'm just thinking - Oh this is tight. Or maybe I've just got a really big head. - I'm just thinking what shall I give you first. - [Inaudible 00:01:29] - No, it's small, you can put it all in one go. - Why are you laughing? - Because it's funny. - I've tasted that before. - Probably. - Is it banana? - No, but I can see why you think it's banana. - Is it a fruit? - No, open up. - It's not a fruit? - No. You're worried about what you're eating now, aren't you? It's not a fruit. - Oh my word, is it a mushroom? - No. - Oh, I was going to say, I didn't get the mushroom vibes. Is it a vegetable? - Yeah. - Is it butternut squash? - No. - Tomatoes? - No. - Grape? - No. - Courgette? - It's courgette. - That's courgette. - Yeah, well done, very good. - Do you know what? That actually tasted really nice. - I can imagine that would be quite nice. - I was not thinking courgette [Inaudible 00:02:16] - Because I fried them with a little bit of salt and pepper. What do you mean oh? - It kind of tastes like a chocolate-covered raisin. - Oh yeah, I can see that. - And then kind of like the texture when you bite into a cranberry. It kind of tastes like its skin. That was really nice. - Was it? - Put it on. So one, nil. - One, nil. Here we go. - Once I lose my eyes, I can't really tell. - Once you lose your eyes. [Inaudible 00:02:45] Oh my god, that is disgusting. - Do you have any idea what that is? - Yeah, but it's just confusing me. The texture is of a grape. - Right. - But with hummus. Tahini. - You are so close. - Oh, it's a tomato. - Yes. - Oh my word, it tasted so grape-like. Maybe that was - Really? - The sweetness from the chocolate. - So it was a cherry tomato and hummus in the middle. - At first I was like, this is quite nice because it had the freshness of the tomato with the chocolate. I was like, this is nice, and then it got really savory when the hummus hit, and it was kind of like nutty - I dread to think what the hummus was like. - You're really good. I don't think I'm going to be able to guess any of these. - So do I get a point for that? - Yes, you're two points. Okay. Nervous. Oh my god, that is so stale. - Is it? - Is that your bagel that went stale last week? Is it bread? - Can you smell it now? - Is it a croissant? - No. - How can that not be bread? - You just need to think quite hard about something that's got like a doughy spongey texture that's savory. - I literally have no clue. - Do you want me to tell you? - I think so. - You've got chocolate all around your mouth now. - Can you give me the first letter? - Yeah, it's y. - What? - It's a place. - No, much closer to home than wherever that is. - York. - You're getter closer, you're getting hot now. If we're doing charades, I'd say, make the work longer. - Yorkie. - Still a place. - I give up. I literally have no clue. - It's a Yorkshire pudding. - Oh my god. It's a Yorkshire pudding. That is delicious. - It's so good, is it? Do you want to finish that? - Do you know what? I even saw some Yorkshire puddings in the freezer. I was like, who's bought Yorkshire puddings? We never had Yorkshire puddings. - You need to get some points now. Well - I know. - You need to stop me getting - I'm going to try to - some points - do one which will hopefully - Oh my word. - What? Oh my word bad or oh my word good? - Yeah, bad. Oniony. Is it like garlic bread? That's like some kind of Mediterranean focaccia or something. Oniony and chocolate just don't go. So bad. - Do you want your drink? - What is it? - It's a cheese and onion roll. - There's no pastry. I can't taste the pastry - You can't taste the pastry but there was loads of pastry in there because you have like the end. Round three, is it? Oh my gosh. Ew. That's a falafel. - Yeah. - I could just smell that. [Inaudible 00:06:01] Do you know as soon as I bit into that and I pulled myself away, I was like, oh my word, I've smelled that before. - You don't falafel at the best of times, do you? - I feel awful, I really do. Oh that's disgusting. I thought you said it was the nice ones to the end. - Yeah this is the middle. - Oh. My turn. - Here we go. Now you've saved the bad stuff for the end, haven't you? - I think I've got one and one. - Okay. This is so strange. - Describe the feelings. - I'm tasting something really strong and kind of salty. - Okay. - But because of the chocolate, I can't tell whether it's really good or really bad. - Oh really? Is it kind of nice? - Yeah. - Have you got it in your mouth, and you're like using your tongue to feel it? Is that your trick? - This is the first time I've done it. - I can't take you seriously with those donuts looking at me. - It's so strong, yet I just don't have a clue what it is. - Yeah, well, you'll understand why it's so strong. - It's like so tart. - Do you want me to tell you what it is? - Yeah, I'm just not going to get that. - A sun-dried tomato. - Oh my word, I was going to say that as well. - A sun-dried tomato? - It just didn't taste like a sun-dried tomato at all. - I really didn't think it was going to coat at all because of like the oils. - Yeah, that was, it wasn't, yeah. - Okay. - You ready? - Ready as I'll ever be. - Okay. - I feel like, you know that old TV program, Fear Factor? - Now I feel like I am on Fear Factor. - Open your mouth. - Is it pineapple? - It's just a little bite. - Don't do that to me. - It's just a little bite, just a little bite. Open your mouth, open your mouth. Bite, bite down. - Stop laughing. - Bite this bit here. - That's a different, that better not be a falafel. Is that garlic bread? - No. - You ready? - You don't just approach my mouth. - Is it pizza? - Yeah. - That's pizza. - Yeah. Stuffed crust. - Yeah, ready. - Okay, ready? [Inaudible 00:08:16] Not nice, is it? - I don't mind actually. - Ready? Bite it. - Are you trying it? - I'm trying it. I was hoping you'd be confused. - It's salty and spongey. Is it just bread? - Nope. - Is it a wagon wheel? - A wagon wheel? No. - It's a waffle. - No. - It's a pancake. - No. - Is it a crumpet? - It's a crumpet. - Yay. - Quite nice, isn't it? - I don't know why I've still got this on me. - It's a crumpet. - That was really delicious. - Okay, last one. Is this a good one? - The only problem is, I'm not sure how you're going to bite this one. You might have to bite on the side, not with your front teeth. - Oh my word. - I'm not sure this is actually going to work, this one. - I'm dribbling. Is it a drumstick? - Yeah. - Is it actually? - Yeah. - You know that flavor that well. - Yeah. But is that a different flavor drumstick? - No that's an original. The Jumbo. - That does not taste like it. - That's the jumbo original. - Let's have a look, that's not an original flavor. That's a bubblegum one. - Is it? - Yes. I reckon an original one would have been delicious with chocolate on, whereas bubblegum kind of doesn't go, but kind of does go. So did you enjoy that? - Yeah, I enjoyed that. - I enjoyed that too. I thought that was really good, and I'll definitely be up for doing that again. I didn't think I was going to say that. I hope you guys enjoyed it too, and we'll see you soon. Bye guys. - See ya.
