- This place is called CXBO, named after Brandon Olsen, who is the head chocolatier responsible for this oasis. I'm here for his famous Ziggy Stardust disco egg, which takes two days to make, sometimes three. I don't want to ruin the surprise of what this disco egg looks like, but all that I will say is that, when Brandon imagined it, he thought of David Bowie on acid, and this being something he would come up with. Freaky. Oh my god, this is beautiful. It's detailed, and colorful, and it's almost too beautiful to eat. Almost. I broke it good. It tastes amazing, so there's some flaked salt, pepercorn, there is some sour cherries, cocoa nibs, a little bit of aerated chocolate, i.e. homemade Aero bars, and then they fill it with truffles, serve that to you at your table, Brandon's got a restaurant named La Banane, and they just serve it to you like that, and you freaking wail at it. Talk about dinner and a show, you know what I mean? Ten cracked chocolate eggs out of ten. Round of applause. Whoah, sorry that was just me being shellshocked. Ground control to Major Tom. This is delicious. Ooh, this little piece almost egg-scaped. This chocolate egg is tie-dye for. These puns are cracking me up. And that concludes my trip to CXBO. If you're ever in Toronto, you should stop by, tell them Julie sent you. You're not gonna get a discount or anything, I just thought that might be nice, for you. Or, more me. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed this, and stay tuned for my next adventure!
