Cold Brew Affogato

Make cold brew coffee at home and take it one step further with a scoop of homemade, no-churn vanilla ice cream.


  • Cold Brew Coffee
  • 1/2 cup ground coffee
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup chocolate covered mini choc chips or coffee beans, coarsely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons thickened cream
  • Ice Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups thickened/whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Ice Cream
  2. Add cream, condensed milk and vanilla extract into a large mixing bowl and whip to stiff peaks using a hand mixer.
  3. Transfer cream mixture to a deep baking dish. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours.
  4. Cold Brew
  5. Coarsely grind the whole coffee beans. Place them in a large bowl or jar and add the water. Stir gently, then cover and let sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours. Strain the coffee through a coffee filter or a fine mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth. You should have about 2 cups coffee. Pour about a tablespoon of thickened cream into each glass.
  6. Scoop the ice cream into four glasses. Pour 1/2 cup coffee over the ice cream and sprinkle with mini choc chips.
