Colorful Pepper Dumplings

Put your microwave to good use with these easy and delicious multicolored peppers stuffed with ground pork.


  • 150 grams thinly-sliced pork loin
  • 150 grams thinly-sliced pork belly
  • 5 assorted colored bell peppers
  • Mixed vegetables
  • Potato starch
  • Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon instant Chinese soup stock granules


  1. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and scoop out the seeds. Arrange peppers onto a baking dish and dust with flour.
  2. Place pork slices on top of your cutting board and chop finely.
  3. Combine the chopped meat with salt, sugar, grated ginger, sesame oil and the instant Chinese soup stock granules. Mix well.
  4. Stuff the peppers with the filling and top each one with one kernel of corn, carrot or a pea.
  5. Microwave for 7 minutes at 600 watts. Serve with soy sauce on the side.
