Crispy Bacon Green Bean Fries With Onion Dip

Coat green bean fries with bacon-y breadcrumbs for a ridiculously tasty snack.


  • For the fries:
  • 2 pounds green beans, trimmed
  • 8 strips of bacon, crisped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • For the dip:
  • 2 teaspoons dried, minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried, minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F, and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a food processor, blitz bacon and breadcrumbs until fine. Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Toss together green beans and egg, and, working in batches, dip green beans into bacon-breadcrumb mixture and place on prepared foil pan.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
