Cubano Burger

Calling all pork lovers... this Cubano sandwich is pork-tastic.


  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound honey ham, shaved
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • Sandwich pickles
  • Mustard
  • Brioche buns


  1. Add pork to a bowl and season with cumin, oregano, cayenne, salt and pepper. Mix to combine, and make into 4 equal patties.
  2. Heat oil in a large saute pan. Cook patties on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
  3. Top patties with honey ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard, and serve on a brioche bun.
