DIY Cure for the Cold Remedy

Heal your sore throat more quickly with this warm, lemony honey-ginger drink.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
  • Peel of 1/2 orange
  • Freshly squeezed juice of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Steps

  1. In a large pot, add apple cider, lemon juice, ginger, orange peels and juice, and honey.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Serve and say, "Goodbye!" to the sniffles.
