- Whenever I visit a theme park like Disneyland, my one mission, beyond all the amazing rides and stuff like that, is to find this. This is the Dole Whip, it is a pineapple saucer and it so delicious and so refreshing, especially when it's really hot at a theme park. But you can make it at home, and it it only takes three ingredients and a blender. So, I have some super sweet frozen pineapple. Now, you can cut fresh pineapple yourself and freeze it, or you can also get frozen pineapple at the grocery store which is much easier. And to that, I'm gonna add some milk, and this is when you can get a little creative if you wanna use coconut milk, or almond milk, rice milk, I'm just using everyday milk, just feel free. And some condensed milk which is literally one of the most delicious things on the face of the planet. It is sticky, it's sweet, it's just milk that's been cooked down for a long time with sugar. Oh my gosh, I love this stuff. Okay, and that's nice and smooth. Now, you can just plop it inside a glass and eat it right away, super simple, but if you wanna go the extra mile and make it very Disney/Universal Studios-ish, this is what you're gonna do. So, get a resealable plastic bag like this, plop all of this mixture in, it's super thick. So you're just gonna plop it into one corner like this, get every last bit in there. It smells so good, smells so tropical, it's all that pineapple in there. Okay, and usually when you get a Dole Whip it has a bit of a swirl, so this is how you do a DIY swirl at home. So, you're just gonna cut a little bit of that plastic bag off, and then you're just gonna create a swirl. This is like DIY soft serve, you guys, and you don't need the machine. Look at that. Okay, and then you'll wanna garnish with a little bit of pineapple so that people know what's in it. But it's called a Dole Whip, so duh, of course it has pineapple and a little maraschino cherry. Or some fancy people call it a mara-ski-no cherry. And that's it, homemade, Dole Whip, super simple, and I've gotta give it a taste. It's creamy, it's sweet, those notes of tropics through the pineapple, it is the perfect refreshing dessert on a hot, hot day, but hey, even if it's cold out I'd eat this stuff.
