Easy Caramel Rice Pudding

Upgrade simple vanilla rice pudding with salted caramel and nutty goodness.


  • Serves 4
  • 3 cups of milk - a full fat milk like whole will give the best results
  • 1/3 cup of uncooked rice (we used Jasmine)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Salted caramel sauce to drizzle
  • Crushed pistachios


  1. Add rice and milk to a large saucepan and bring to a gentle boil.
  2. Add vanilla and sugar and stir until rice becomes tender, milk reduces and mixture thickens.
  3. Transfer mixture to glasses, sprinkle with cinnamon and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce.
  4. Finish with the a sprinkle of crushed pistachios
