Easy Corn Croquettes

These may be the easiest and corniest croquettes ever.

Ingredients

  • 4 sticks Umaibo snacks (corn soup flavor)
  • 4 slices ham
  • 200 milliliters milk
  • 1/4 onion
  • 150 grams corn kernels
  • 50 grams flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams panko

Steps

  1. Crumble the Umaibo stick right into the frying pan.
  2. Add in sliced ham, minced onion, corn and milk. Cook until thickened.
  3. Pour into a square pan or tray and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. Separate mixture into four and mold into spheres. Cover them in flour, followed by the egg. Finally coat well with panko.
  5. Deep-fry in hot oil (180 degrees C) until crispy and golden brown. Serve with tonkatsu sauce.
