Egg in a Mug Breakfast

Because sometimes you need a quick breakfast that takes next to zero effort.


  • PAM cooking spray
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Dash of pepper
  • Optional toppings:
  • Sriracha
  • Scallions
  • Cilantro


  1. Spray your mug liberally with PAM and crack the eggs in. Add the milk and spices, and whisk well with a fork.
  2. Microwave on high for 45 seconds. Stir the eggs and return to the microwave for an additional 50 seconds longer. You want to do this in two shifts as your eggs will explode all over the microwave if you let it go too long.
  3. Remove from the microwave and top with Sriracha, scallions and cilantro. Take on the go and enjoy!
