Stuffed with sweet strawberries and thick cream, this giant chocolate egg is yummier than any store-bought treats.

Egg with Candy Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

  • 1/2 large chocolate egg

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. In a pot, add the condensed milk, egg yolk and milk.

  2. Place over low heat and cook until you get a thick cream. Place in refrigerator to cool for at least 2 hours.

  3. Add the vanilla and strawberries to the cream and fill the egg.

  4. Cover the filling with the melted chocolate and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden.
