Ingredients
French Toast Bowls
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 loaf of white sandwich bread
- For the cinnamon sugar:
- 4 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Filling and Topping
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- Strawberries, mango, and kiwi, thinly sliced
- Whipped cream
- Honey
- Strawberries, mango, and kiwi, thinly sliced
Steps
French Toast Bowls
- In a bowl, beat the egg, milk, sugar, and cinnamon together with a whisk until well blended.
- Cut 2 bowl shapes out of your loaf, then dip into the filling.
- In a frying pan, cook for 2 minutes on each side until crispy and golden.
- While still warm, dip all the sides in the cinnamon and sugar mix. Set aside to cool.
Filling and Topping
- Fill with the cream and fruit in layers.
- Decorate with extra fruit and cream, and serve.
