• 10 ounces Nutella
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • Zest from 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder


  1. Using wooden spoons, space out dollops of Nutella on a baking sheet.
  2. Place in freezer until frozen.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, oil and milk.
  4. Add the sugar, flour, lime zest and baking powder and stir to combine.
  5. Dip each frozen Nutella ball into the cake dough and use a spoon to make sure it is completely covered.
  6. Fry in hot oil until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Combine powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a shallow dish.
  8. Dip fried balls in the powdered sugar mixture and serve.
