Fruity Sweet Bean Jelly

Use your ice cube tray to make delicious, fruit-packed jelly!


  • Red bean jelly mixture:
  • 100g sweet red bean paste
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 100ml water
  • 2g agar powder
  • Fruit agar:
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3g agar powder
  • 200ml water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 strawberries
  • Canned mandarin oranges (8 oranges)
  • 1/6 kiwi


  1. Combine sweet red bean paste, sugar, water, and agar powder in a saucepan. Bring them to a boil and make red bean jelly mixture. Set aside.
  2. In a separate saucepan, combine sugar, agar powder, water and lemon juice. Mix well and bring to a boil.
  3. Transfer the mixture (2) to a bowl and mix in strawberries, canned mandarin oranges, and kiwi to make fruit agar.
  4. Pour the fruit agar mixture into an ice cube tray and let it sit in the fridge until solid.
  5. Pour the red bean jelly mixture on top and let it sit in the fridge until solid.
  6. Remove the mixture from the mold and cut each cube with a knife. Enjoy!
