Goth Black Ice Cream

serving time4 to 6

  • For goth ice cream:

  • 1 1/3 cups sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tablespoon active charcoal powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • For black waffle cones:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon active charcoal powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Fruity Pebbles, coconut flakes or rainbow sprinkles, to garnish

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, charcoal powder and vanilla.

  2. Whip heavy cream until you can see whipped foam. Carefully fold charcoal mixture into whipped cream. Pour into a container and freeze.

  3. Heat a waffle cone machine. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients for waffle cones. Add a scoop of batter to machine and cook about 1 to 2 minutes. As soon as they are done, mold them into cone shapes while still hot.

  4. Scoop ice cream into waffle cones and garnish if desired. Enjoy!
