Granny’s Goulash

One-pot deliciousness just like Grandma used to make — and with elbow macaroni FTW.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (14.5 ounces) can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Steps

  1. In a large pot, melt butter and brown ground beef. Add onions, cooking 3-5 minutes until brown.
  2. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Toss in cooked macaroni and stir to coat. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
