Green Turmeric Iced Tea

Your green tea can be even healthier with a dash of turmeric, ginger and refreshing lime juice.


  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root, minced
  • 2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 2 green tea bags
  • Ice
  • Freshly squeeze lime


  1. In a medium pot, combine the water, ginger, turmeric, honey, and salt.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes then turn off the heat. Add the green tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer and then allow to cool.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour the tea over the ice, and then squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
