8 pieces of white bread
4 cheddar cheese slices
1 can of tomato soup - follow directions on package and heat

Preheat oven to 375
Start by making the grilled cheese bowl. Taking only 6 of the bread slices cut the bottom crust and two sides. For the 2 remaining pieces cut off all crusts.
Using a rolling pin roll out each slice of bread till flat. In a bowl whisk the egg
Working delicately, butter the outside of one slice of bread and place in a small ramekin. Butter the outside of the second slice and before placing it in the ramekin, brush a bit of the egg where the two pieces would overlap this will act as the glue. Place the second piece in the dish and repeat the same process with the third ensuring there are no holes where the soup might seep out.
Place cheese in center and slightly up the sides. To complete the "sandwich" place the last slice with no crusts on top of the cheese and pat down.
Bake for 25 minutes or until toasted. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before removing from the ramekin.
Heat up your favourite type of soup and ladle it into the grilled cheese bowl.
