Pork Chops With Grilled Peaches

Bring a little sweet to your savory pork dish with satisfyingly smoky grilled peaches.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for the grill
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 bone-in pork chops
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 peaches, quartered
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat grill to medium-high.
  2. Combine the chili paste, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup in a small bowl, and set aside.
  3. Season the pork with salt and pepper. Grill until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F, approximately 6-8 minutes per side.
  4. Grill the peaches, turning occasionally, until soft and grill lines appear, 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Place the peaches over the cooked pork chop, followed by the basil and then drizzle with the chili sauce.
