Ingredients

  • 1 bag of caramel candies, unwrapped (about 2 cups)
  • 10 Jet-Puffed marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup assorted leftover Halloween candies (such as M&M's, candy corn, chopped Kit Kats)
  • 1 bag of candy melts (either chocolate or white chocolate), melted
  • Halloween sprinkles (optional)

Steps

  1. Prepare a cookie sheet with wax paper; set aside.
  2. Place unwrapped caramels over a pot of simmering water and melt, stirring so they don't burn. Add in marshmallows and and butter, stirring to melt.
  3. Pour caramel-marshmallow mixture over a bowl of the popped popcorn, and use a rubber spatula sprayed with cooking spray to stir, coating evenly.
  4. Fold in candies and stir again.
  5. Using gloves or a large ice cream scoop, spoon popcorn balls onto prepared cookie sheet. Pierce popsicle sticks into the center and let popcorn balls firm up before dipping in chocolate and sprinkling with Halloween sprinkles.
