Holiday French Toast

Made with loads of cinnamon, maple syrup, fresh fruit and powdered sugar, this is what it takes to make good holiday French toast.


  • 4-6 eggs (or more as needed)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 loaf brioche, sliced into thick pieces
  • Maple syrup
  • Powdered sugar
  • Sliced oranges
  • Blueberries


  1. In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon and salt until combined.
  2. Brown butter in a medium skillet.
  3. Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning until well coated.
  4. Add bread slices to skillet and cook until nicely browned on each side.
  5. Remove to a plate and garnish with maple syrup, powdered sugar and fruit.
