Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon picked thyme leaves, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Honey Thyme Glazed Pork Chop

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 bone-in center-cut pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Steps

Marinade

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the broth, olive oil, balsamic, honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, thyme, garlic, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.

Honey Thyme Glazed Pork Chop

  1. Add pork chops to a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over the top.
  2. Place in the refrigerator and marinate for at least 40 minutes and up to 8 hours.
  3. Remove chops from the marinade and pat dry. Add the marinade into a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Reduce until thick, about 5 minutes. Swirl in butter after thickened.
  4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  5. Heat oil in cast-iron skillet over high heat.
  6. Add the chops and lower heat to medium-high. Cook for 4 minutes per side.
  7. The last minute of cooking, brush the chops with the reduced marinade.
  8. Place in the oven and finish cooking for 4 to 5 minutes.
