- All right, so Tastemade Japan sent me a video they want me to recreate. It's a challenge, but little did they know I'm a food savant. What is that? Ooh, god! Oh my god, oh my god. What? That doesn't make sense! This is gonna be nothing. Play. Okay. Great. Okay, oh, ooh, it's moving fast, okay. Okay, this is nothing. In a saucepan, beautiful. White onion, easy. Green pepper. Hot dogs? Okay. We're making like a scramble? Like a little, ooh, like a Western omelet. Oh, I love a good hot dog. That's what she said. I did. And some mushrooms! Yeah, it's gonna be a little, like, Western scramble. I've got some egg here, that's fun. Okay. Okay, next item. What is that? Is that ketchup? Why are you putting ketchup in your Western omelet? Let's ruin a perfectly good thing, why don't we? Oh, there's something wrong with this. I hate it. Okay, next thing, what is that? That's gotta be hot, soy sauce, is that what's down here? Puttin' it in! Okay. Stir. Oh, I'm getting some intense smells. My god. Oh. Oh, no. Why are you putting spaghetti in the thing? What happened to you as a child? That you feel the need to taint so many good things? This is wrong. This is so wrong. Ugh! In you go. What are you doing now? You sick son of Satan. Mixing it up, okay. I don't know, like, this Western omelet can not be turned around at this point. Eggs, oh, I've got two eggs. Great, and you're putting, you're, mayonnaise? Yeah, that's gonna be, oh, that's gonna be fun. Let's get that involved. And then we'll go, and then more salt and pepper, I think. Those are the spices that I know, because my palate is very sad and juvenile. All right, we'll just give that a mixie-poo. What comes next? In a square pan, oh. Oh! What have you gone and done there? What? It's sushi! It's a sushi roll! Okay. I need a square pan. I don't think we have that here. Oh, I've got, oh. This is what, this is the best you've got, then, friends. Okay. It's a loaf tin. Cool. We can improvise. Aah! Oh my god, oh my god, sorry. Smoking, Jesus. Okay. Super duper. I really did not get that mayo in there very well. Don't try this at home, folks! I'm gonna set something on fire! Cool, cool cool cool, cool, nice. You look good, girl. Whoo! Okay. Avoided a big disaster there. I need a sushi mat. I need a sushi mat, and I got one right here. Come on, you little guy. Oh hey, hey. Welcome to the party. Get it on my sushi mat. Oh, look at this, girl! Makin' things happen! That looks great. I'm very impressed. With myself. This is going so well, and I have to be honest, it actually smells really nice, so what is the next step? I think it's makin' my sushi roll. Man. If you woulda told me we was about to put spaghetti in ketchup inside an omelet, I would say you're crazy. And now I'm smellin' this, and I'm like, still a little weird. All right, let's roll it. I'm gettin' real stoked, 'cause I didn't think this was gonna work at all. But I'm feelin' like, I'm feelin' like maybe it's working! So jacked. Aah! I mean, I could stop right now. This is so good. But the video continues. Okay, so next up, we're repeatin' the process. Oh shit, it's falling apart. Oh, it's already on fire. Oh, it's already on fire, more egg. Okay. Oh, there's a lot of smoke. Ah, roll it over. Okay, good enough. Oh, I am just, just wrecking this pan. You're definitely supposed to have it on low heat. This pan is ed. All right! All right, this is like any of the, you know, there's no turning back now, is what I'm trying to say. Any of the hard bits, they're behind us. Now it's just we reap the rewards of our hard work. Let's have a little look see. See what we did. Oh my gosh! It looks exactly like the pictures minus the burnt bit. Okay, let's plate it up. Okay, this is the time. I think I should get 10 out of 10 points for the look of it. Well, at least eight out of 10. Report. The noodles threw me off at the beginning. Like, they kept trying to wiggle down my throat when I wasn't quite ready, I wasn't done chewing. That is so good. Dare I say great. That is lovely. What? What? That doesn't make sense. This is mostly just ketchup! Yeah, but ketchup is good. Ketchup is good on eggs. Ketchup is good on mac and cheese, i.e. the noodle. Ketchup is good on hot dogs. I'm gonna eat all of this. Oh, I encourage you to try this at home. You guys, check out this video, make it for yourself. You are gonna be surprised.
