- Looking for a caffeine substitute to jump start your day? I've got the answer for you, and no it's not a matcha latte. It's a magical moringa latte. Let's get started. Alright so in place of the coffee and caffeine today we are going to be putting in moringa and maca. So moringa has a nice earthy taste to it and it has a bunch of health benefits, but today we're using it for the natural energy boost. And then we also have maca, which also has a great list of health benefits, balancing hormones, but today again we're gonna use it for that natural energy boost. so we are doin' cashew milk, so it's extra creamy. Throw that into the high speed blender. Some moringa. We got maca, and maca has a nice little butterscotch taste to it. So to complement that and pull that flavor out a little more, we're gonna add a date and then a little bit of almond butter. Cinnamon, a heaping teaspoon, and then a little pinch of nutmeg as well. There we go. We're gonna blend it up. And then boil it up. Alright, you just wanna blend it until you notice that all of the almond butter is incorporated into the mixture. Turn on the stove, just to medium. And then let it heat up until it's a very light simmer. You don't wanna burn your tongue. And you'll be good to go. Alright my latte has been on the stove for about three minutes. Starting to simmer a little bit. Let's turn it off and pour it up. Super creamy, nutty. Let's give it a try. Absolutely delicious. The almond butter, it just makes it extra creamy and a little more substantial. I sub this for my morning cup of coffee from time to time, and I still get the same natural energy boost. I challenge you guys to do the same. And if you do, make sure you tag me so I can check it out.
