Made with sweet maple syrup, rich pecans and thick cut bacon, this dessert is addicting AF.
8 slices thick cut bacon
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top. Lay the bacon strips across the rack and bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile in a bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, maple, and cayenne.
Remove bacon from the oven, and brush one side with the liquidy part of the mixture. Flip over the slices and spoon the mixture on top of each slice.
Bake for another 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and serve warm or cold!
