With tequila and lime, this frozen dessert will add lots of zest to your life.
2 cups water
1/2 cup light agave
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
3-4 tablespoons tequila
Zest of 2 limes
Lime slices for garnish
Salt for rimming serving glasses
Mix water and sugar until dissolved. Stir in the agave, lime juice and tequila. Pour into a shallow dish and place in the freezer.
When frozen, use a spoon to create shavings.
Serve in a salt-rimmed glass with a lime wedge and lime zest on top.
