These delicious milk chocolate tarts have a salty pretzel crust and are the perfect treat if you love salty and sweet!
four 4" tarts
4 cups salted pretzels + extra for decoration
½ cup confectioner’s sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
340g milk chocolate chips, melted
6 oz whipping cream, hot
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Freshly whipped cream
Make the crust:
Place the pretzels in a food processor and pulse until finely ground. Add the confectioner’s sugar and butter and pulse until well combined.
Divide the filling between four 4-inch springform pans and press into the bottoms and sides with a spoon. Place in the freezer while you make the filling.
Make the filling:
Combine the melted milk chocolate chips, whipping cream, vanilla extract and salt in a bowl.
Divide between the 4 tarts and place the tarts in the freezer until the ganache has set, 1-2 hours.
Unlatch the walls of the pans and gently slide off the tarts. Reserve 4 whole pretzels and crush the extra pretzels in your hands. Decorate edges of the tarts.
Dollop some freshly whipped cream into the center of each tart and garnish with a whole pretzel. Enjoy!
