Mousse Pie With Brigadeiro Chocolate Truffle

If you can't get enough rich brigadeiro goodness, then this creamy chocolate pie is for you.


  • 1 package Bis white chocolate-covered wafers
  • 1 package Bis milk chocolate-covered wafers
  • 2 1/2 cups chocolate cake, crumbled
  • 1 cup brigadeiro truffle mixture
  • 1 1/4 cups white chocolate, melted
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package gelatin, prepared
  • 5 egg whites


  1. In a buttered springform pan, alternate white and milk chocolate-covered Bis wafers around the edge.
  2. Sprinkle the crumbled cake on the bottom of the baking pan and press down to form a crust.
  3. Pour the brigadeiro truffle mixture over the crumbled cake and spread out evenly with a spatula. Place in refrigerator.
  4. Mix the melted white chocolate with the cream and gelatin. Gently add the egg whites and incorporate. Pour it over the brigadiero.
  5. Place in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  6. Top with shaved chocolate.
