Muffin Cup Meat Buns

Use your muffin pan to make these savory buns filled with ground pork.

Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 200 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 200 milliliters water
  • Filling:
  • 80 grams ground pork
  • 30 grams bamboo shoots, chopped
  • 1/4 green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil

Steps

  1. Place paper cups inside the mini muffin molds.
  2. In a bowl, combine filling ingredients and mix well.
  3. Fill muffin cups with batter, one-third of the way up. Place one teaspoon of filling in the center. Pour the rest of the batter on top.
  4. Cover and steam for 20 minutes.
