• Cherries
  • 2 cups Japanese cider
  • 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder
  • Gold leaf


  1. Place 1 cherry in each opening of an ice cube tray.
  2. Add Japanese cider to a pot and boil, adding the agar-agar powder to dissolve. Add gold leaf and stir gently. Allow to cool.
  3. Pour liquid into the ice cube tray and cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
