Your pizza dough needs an upgrade with cheesy garlic bread, cinnamon bun knots, and pigs in a blanket flavors.

  • 1/2 cup of warm water
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 3 cups of All Purpose Flour, plus extra
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil, plus extra
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clover garlic, minced
  • Cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Marinara Sauce
  • 2 3/4 ounces butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Raisins
  • 1/4 milk
  • 1/2 cup Marinara
  • 1 cup Mozzarella
  • Mini Weiners
  • Corn meal
  • Egg wash (one egg whisked with 1 tablespoon water)

  1. Garlic Mozzarella Sticks
  2. Preheat the oven to 400˚F.
  3. In the microwave melt together the butter and garlic.
  4. Roll out what ever pizza dough is remaining on a floured surface to a 1/2 inches thickness. Sprinkle a baking sheet with a light dusting of cornmeal and drape the dough over top.
  5. Brush the dough with garlic butter and then top with the cheeses and herbs. Baked for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and crust is cooked through.
  6. Sliced into sticks and serve with marinara sauce.
  7. Cinnamon Bun Knots
  8. Preheat the oven to 400˚F.
  9. In a medium bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, maple syrup and cinnamon. Pour into a baking tin and sprinkle with raisins.
  10. Grab a baseball sized piece of dough and roll it into a snake. Bring the two ends together and knot just like you would a shoe lace. Fold the end under and place in the roasting dish. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  11. Brush the tops with a little bit of milk and then bake for 15-18 minutes. Once baked let cool for 5 minutes and then turn out of the tin.
  12. Pizza Pigs in a Blanket
  13. Preheat the oven to 400˚F.
  14. Roll out a golfball sized amount of dough on a floured surface into a flat oval. Fill with a tablespoon of marinara and a sprinkle of cheese. Place the Weiner in the centre and roll the dough around. Place on a baking sheet that has been sprinkled with cornmeal.
  15. Repeat with the remaining dough and then brush the top of each pig with a bit of egg wash. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
