Perfect Pork Belly

Roasted with rosemary and lots of garlicky goodness, this super tender pork belly is ridiculously tasty.


  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pork belly
  • 1 cup honey


  1. Preheat oven to 390°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the thyme, rosemary, paprika, garlic, salt and olive oil.
  3. Place the meat in a roasting pan, fatty side down, and spread half of the seasoning on the meat. Turn over, make shallow cuts on the surface of the skin and spread the rest of the seasoning.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and place in oven for about 1 hour.
  5. Remove from oven, remove the foil, brush with honey and return to the oven for 30 more minutes.
