Pork Chop with Garlic Cream Sauce

Sorry, my mouth is watering too hard to concentrate...

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and dredge in flour. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add butter and olive oil. Add pork chops and cook until golden brown on each side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic, onion and peppers. Saute until soft and lightly browned and caramelized. Deglaze pan with white wine and reduce by half. Add stock, heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and add pork chops back into pan. Simmer until sauce is thickened and pork is cooked through. Finish with parsley.
